Why Webinars Are Failing Financial Advisors in 2023: Immediate Value is the New Norm

I want to talk about why webinars are no longer working for financial advisors in 2023 and what you can do about it.

Usually how webinars work is you have a landing page where people register, you have webinars that are going to happen in 3 to 14 days, and then you’re going to do Facebook ad that gets people to register to the webinar. They must wait 3, 7 to 14 days to register.

The problem with that right now is you are no longer competing with only other webinar funnels, or other webinar campaigns, that the prospect must wait 3 to 7 days for.

You are competing against US. Against advertisers on Facebook, financial advisors who are going to the prospects and saying “hey, instead of waiting for that webinar you signed up for, go and watch my 10-minute presentation and book a meeting with me right now.”

So, what happens is when somebody registers for you webinar on Facebook, Facebook knows that person is qualified and interested in a financial advisor, they go and show them other ads of some other financial advisors which work with us and then that financial advisor gets your lead.
