Here’s why we don’t use appointment setters in our marketing system. #1: it’s very, very slow. It adds complexity to your system, it’s not easily scalable, and it causes compliance issues. Compliance issues means if somebody’s acting as a representative of your business and talking to potential prospects, you might be liable for what they say on the phone. So, you must train them. You must make sure they’re using compliance scripts. You must record all of their calls and you have to make sure they’re not saying anything to get your trouble with FINRA and the SEC, etc. #2: it’s hard to train, manage and hire these people. If you want to double your ad spend, you must go and find and recruit these people, train them, manage them, deal with them. You’re adding a lot more people in business which means it moves a lot slower.
